Panagiotis Bechrakis is a growth driven CPG/FMCG marketer transforming Brands and Organizations through Innovation, Change Management and End-to-End strategy. A commercial afficionado with 14 years of experience; 9 years in Brand Management with 5 of them devoted to Global Innovation, and 5 years in Sales.
He holds an MBA from Ross School of Business at University of Michigan, with emphasis in Marketing and International Business. He spent 10 years in the US where he held multiple positions in Brand Management at Reckitt and Godiva. His latest role while in the US was Global Marketing Director for Godiva where he focused on Global Innovation leading the development of products and sub-brands that reached consumers in more than 100 countries and almost every distribution channel.
At both Reckitt and Godiva, his hands-on approach and relationship building mentality allowed him to become an essential member of the broader commercial team and to expand his scope beyond marketing specific tasks, making him a well-rounded commercial leader with strong knowledge of trade across multiple countries.
Before moving to the US, he spent 5 years in Greece working in multiple sales roles including Business Development Manager for Auto-France, Export Sales Executive for DOMUS SA and Organized Trade Sales Rep for Cadbury Hellas. In addition to his MBA, he holds an MSc in Marketing from Athens University of Economics and Business and a BA in Finance from the University of Piraeus.
In 2022 Panagiotis became a US Scholar of the Marketing Academy, a highly selective leadership development program for 30 carefully selected marketers from all the United States. He also holds a Diploma in Restaurant Entrepreneurship from New York University – School of Professional Studies and a Diploma in Export Management from IST Studies.
Since returning from the US in December of 2022, Panagiotis has been working as a freelance Marketing & Innovation consultant while making his first entrepreneurial endeavors in Hospitality and Real Estate.
