Who we are
The GAIA-X Accelerator is a strategic initiative of the Ministry of Digital Governance, implemented through the Information Society S.A., with the goal of creating a comprehensive Central Support Mechanism for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs), startups, and business teams that aim to safely and reliably harness the power of data, innovation, and digital transformation.
Purpose of the GAIA-X Accelerator
The central goal is the establishment of a national Collaboration and Acceleration Hub, which will facilitate the familiarization and integration of Greek businesses into data-sharing and data-utilization ecosystems, in accordance with international standards and the guidelines of GAIA-X and the International Data Spaces Association (IDSA).
The GAIA-X Accelerator offers specialized support in key sectors of the Greek economy, acting as a catalyst for the development and adoption of innovative solutions.
In addition to SMEs, startups, and business teams, the Hub is open to market stakeholders, organizations, research centers, and other innovation bodies—contributing to the creation of a dynamic ecosystem of collaboration, knowledge exchange, and data utilization.
